Psychiatrist, Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist.
Training analyst and member of the Israeli Psychoanalytic Society and the International psychoanalytic society.
Professor Emeritus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Has taught for 35 years (as visiting professor) in Departments of Medicine, Psychology, Social work and Education in Jerusalem and in the Ben-Gurion University of Beer Sheba.
Has published over 60 papers in international and local journals and books.
His main areas of research:
Study of primary thought processes and their expression in dreams,
art and creativity.
Psychodynamics of music.
Normal processes of Maintenance of the Self – in the self- centered personality, in dreams, in art, and in the group.
Metapsychology of the multi-model system.
